Amédée Doléris spent his retirement in his native village in Lembeye and started planting a 20 Ha vineyard. He will create a collection of French grape varieties there that he will vinify as in their region of origin. At the foot of the Lembeye coast, along the road to Pau, he built a set of reception cellars, vats, presses on the quay, then storage and aging cellars along the stream.
Thereafter, he will build an underground cellar 400 meters long, this one will be dug under the road of Lembeye on the plans and directives of Champagne engineers. Workers will be in charge of digging and loading earth from the tunnel onto trolleys, which will be pulled outside by Pyrenean mules.

Today owned by the Cave de Crouseilles and its winegrowers, the Chai Doléris is open to visitors and immerses us in the history of this wine enthusiast and his wine region. The Chai is no longer intended to vinify wine, nor to age it.

🍷 OENOTOURISM: - Visit of the underground cellars for free visit and guided tour for groups - Temporary exhibitions in the underground galleries.
