Le Poutéou invites you to a musical evening hosted by VOLTA ROUGE with African Blues! Volta Rouge is an exceptional trio merging the influences of Europe, Africa and America. Their mixed music combines jazz, electro, world and traditional music, creating a unique and captivating experience. The group offers an ultra-tonic meditation where the roots of Mississippi and Niger meet, evoking trance and ancestral blues. Patrick Agullo, French percussionist, singer and guitarist born in Africa, finds his inspiration in Brazilian music. Co-founder of Anapolis, one of the first French Bossa-Nova groups, he pays tribute to this music in his 3rd album “Puxa Vida”. Originally from Burkina Faso, Zaky Diarra, from a nomadic family, learned music from childhood with his father, the griot Sidiki Diarra. A singer in Bambara and French, he makes the n'goni (lute harp) resonate in compositions evoking universal love, ecology, and the independence of Africa. A talented multi-instrumentalist and harmonica player, Mickaël Mazaleyrat is known for his unique and limitless playing. Sponsored by Hohner since 2017, he has recorded numerous albums and has been offering solo performances since 2018.
