Concert Escales d'Automne

Let yourself be swept away by the magic of a concert where ancient voices resonate with striking intensity: a rare, delicate, and simply irresistible moment to savor. Echo writing is a technique favored and frequently used by early 17th-century Italian composers… This program presents several approaches to this technique in the works of various composers, such as the renowned Claudio Monteverdi, as well as Ignazio Donati and Tarquinio Merula.
