The "A L'Ane Bleu" art gallery is organizing an exhibition by Cyril Desmet and Gilles Bonnin. The Blue Donkey offers you a journey without luggage into the world of artists who this year again invite you to an escape into the strange universe of art, no need for a guide, to follow the dreams, first alley on the left, go straight , go through the door to the Blue Donkey's garden, wait for the bird to pause, the piano will guide you beyond the mirror. Inauguration on Friday July 19 from 11 a.m. in the presence of the artists. Cyril Desmet There are painters who approach unknown lands, revealed by dreams, illuminated by imagination. They tell a story that everyone understands according to their perspective, their memory, their ease in approaching dreams in broad daylight. Cyril Desmet is one of them, half-poet, half-prophet, painter in his own right. His universe was able to find the right expression thanks to the technique that the artist developed. She was able to flourish under the example of the old masters to whom Desmet owes her greatest emotions. She also yielded to the desire for freedom that this accomplished traveler needed to live and paint in a state of grace. (Art Practices) Gilles Bonnin Gilles' work is focused on his fascination with birds and Nordic mythology (the god Odin and his two ravens) He speaks to our adult eyes with the language of poetry and dreams, each work tells a story, made of fragility and the unexpected. Gilles Bonnin's birds, solitary or in groups, seem suspended in time. With kindness, they share their songs with the spectator. This artist seems to want to abolish time and space and lets our imaginations wander along the route of the birds.
