Plaisance du Gers celebrates the national holiday with the now traditional bullfighting day. Toros, Andalusian atmosphere, music, Gascon conviviality, gastronomy and party culture will come together to create this atmosphere of sharing the joy and friendship that characterizes Gascon know-how. 11:00 a.m. Encierro Txiki (for children): Children can play scare while running in front of cardboard bulls on a course laid out in front of the bullring. Flamenco evening with Paco Paco: Flamenco singer-guitarist 11:00 pm Fireworks on the lake. NOVILLADA WITHOUT PICADOR: (With killing, it is indeed bullfighting.) In bullfighting: The novillada without picador is the first level in official shows with killing. Young novilleros, now from bullfighting schools, fight bulls aged 2 to 3 years. In the non-pitched novilladas there is no intervention of the picadors on horseback, which is why they are also called novillada without picador or novillada without horses. After having tored a minimum of 20 novilladas without picador, the young bullfighters will be able to claim to pass in novillada piqué (with picador) and then face toros aged 3 to 4 years (novillos). Only later, when these novilleros have acquired enough experience to be able to face bulls over 4 years old, will come the passage in bullfighting during the alternative which will definitively consecrate them matador of bulls. 30 Youth places to win!!!
