The author, born in 1949 in Bigorre in Campistrous "in his father's house" Lafont, has from an early age actively participated in the work in the fields and the "Hourette" farm where he grew up, always very close to nature. After serious agronomic studies in Toulouse, he spent several years teaching organic and physical chemistry in Algiers, then spent his entire career in environmental expertise. He has contributed his texts and photographs to numerous magazines, periodicals and daily newspapers in France and Argentina.
