The Ecocentre invites you for a week of workshops, meetings, visits, film debates, exhibitions on raw earth construction for a healthy and ecological habitat Program: Tuesday October 3: 9:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Visit to renovated earthen houses: earthen buildings represent a large part of the rural heritage. These owners renovated their half-timbered homes, highlighting and using the earth material in various places. Come discover them with Anaïs! – carpooling from the ecocenter Want to stay with us? Bring your picnic! 2 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.: I'm learning about earth masonry: Come and participate in the launch of various projects: earth coatings on cob, wood frame and cob filling, small BTC partition... Wednesday October 4: 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. / I'm getting started to earth masonry: Come and take part in various projects: earth rendering on cob, wooden frame and cob filling, small BTC partition… Want to stay with us? Thursday October 5: 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.: Projected earth-hemp demonstration: theoretical part, installation of the site, lunch break with shared meal, application and storage - With craftsmen Aurélien Raulin and Sébastien Gane from the Habitat eco action cooperative - For professionals in construction and individuals 6:15 p.m.-8:30 p.m.: Cinema-debate with screening of the film “Didi Contractor, marrying the earth to the building”, directed by Steffi Giaracuni, 81′ – with the Terre de Batisseruses association (free price) 8:30 p.m.: Evening wood-fired pizzas: A pizza cannot be refused! especially if it is cooked in the earth oven built during Theme Week 2022 – Bring your filling, seasonal and homemade, we provide the dough (free price). Friday October 6: 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m.: Round table “degendering construction”: Discussions around the film and debate with local speakers, on raw earth construction and the place of gender in building 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. / Earth – straw – modeling branches: Simon Deschamps, host of the 2022 fou à pain workshop, will come and show us how to make sculptures and a beehive in basketry and earthen coating. Bring your picnic! 2 p.m.-4:30 p.m.: Guided tour of the Pierre & Terre ecocenter: Discover bioclimatic design through an efficient, exemplary, ecological and economical building, built from untreated local and natural materials – tour led by technicians Anaïs and Christophe. Continuous: Exhibition “Terre de builders” by Alizée Cugney and Claire Dycha: Discover the portraits of women who think, create and build new ways of inhabiting the Earth, in a sustainable, social and collective way.
