The Adour Trail

This discovery trail is accessible to pedestrians, horse riders and mountain bikers, stretching 94 km between Barcelonne-du-Gers, 2 km from Aire-sur-l’Adour in the Landes region, and Bazet in the Hautes-Pyrénées.

As they explore these riverbanks, rural paths and small roads, visitors are invited to discover and appreciate the water and green tourism. This discovery trail aims to highlight the heritage linked to the river, including its landscapes, nature,
architecture, history and culture.

By using this trail, visitors become aware of environmental issues and gain a better understanding of the many uses of water. Water is essential for health, wildlife, economic activities, sports and recreation.
