Description

It is on the borders of the South-West, in the Gers department, that our story begins. In the former Convent of Maumusson-Laguian, clinging since the 18th century to the limestone rock of an old quarry, stands the Domaine Capmartin. On either side of the imposing building are rich soils revealing great wines. The history of Domaine Capmartin began in 1985, when Guy Capmartin decided to leave the family estate to create his own estate. In 1987, the first vintage of Domaine Capmartin was born: “Tradition”. Step by step, the estate is expanding and its reputation is growing, making today the Couvent de Maumusson an unmissable meeting place for lovers of authentic Madiran and Pacherenc.
