A particularity of the estate is that it has a heritage of very old vines, including one of the last plots of pre-phylloxera tannat dating from the end of the 19th century. In prime years, it is vinified separately and gives rise to a complex, fine wine with exceptional length in the mouth. It was in 1993, upon leaving oenology school, that Christine Dupuy took over the 6 hectares of family vines and became the youngest winemaker in the appellation.
