DOMAINE DE HERREBOUC

  • Wine
Château de Herrebouc, 32190 Saint-Jean-Poutge

Description

Domaine de Herrebouc is located on the banks of the Baïse, in Saint Jean Poutge and has 18 hours of vines on clay-limestone hillsides, divided into 10 grape varieties typical of the Gers or the greater South-West. Dry, sweet, soft whites, rosés and reds are thus produced on the estate. Produced using traditional vinification methods that limit inputs to a minimum, the wines are then aged in stainless steel vats, French oak barrels or jars. The production has been certified organic since 2010 by Ecocert, and labeled Demeter Biodynamics since 2020. The balance and development of the vines are essential to obtain quality grapes. Working according to the principles of organic farming and biodynamics requires precise observation and good responsiveness.
